Connecting our Golden Bay communities
The Takaka-Collingwood Trail is a 27km off-road experience for people who love to cycle or walk.
The Trail will provide a long desired safe, off-road experience and a vital connection between Golden Bay communities for work, school and recreation. It helps support and grow local businesses and showcase Golden Bay to out-of-town visitors seeking new cycling and walking adventures.
The first section of the Trail we have funding for is 7kms starting at Onekaka Hall. (see map below).
Well, that's the plan. Let's hope for good weather and no spanners in the works.
And if all goes well, this would be the result by the end of next summer:
